Connect WhatsApp
Link the clinic's WhatsApp number to the CRM.
Paste the number ID and connect key you were given.
Before you link
This links your number the same way WhatsApp Web does, so your team can reply from the CRM with their own logins. It is not Meta's official business API. WhatsApp can restrict or ban numbers that send spam or bulk promotions.
Use it for normal chats with patients and enquiries.
Scan with the clinic phone
- Open WhatsApp on the phone that has the clinic number.
- Android: tap ⋮ then Linked devices. iPhone: Settings then Linked devices.
- Tap Link a device and point the phone at this code.
The code changes every 20 seconds. Keep this page open until it says connected.
Link without scanning: enter the clinic number with country code.
- On the phone, open Linked devices and tap Link a device.
- Tap Link with phone number instead.
- Type the code above.

Messages to this number now arrive in the CRM, and replies from the CRM go out from this number. The phone can stay in a drawer; it doesn't need to be online.
Open WhatsApp on the phone at least once every 14 days. If the phone stays away longer, WhatsApp logs out linked devices and you'll need to scan again.
